Only at Chucktown Tours can you explore history in the harbor
They say, “If you haven’t seen Charleston from the water… well, you simply haven’t seen Charleston” and they're right! Join Chucktown Tour’s own Captain Tim on the waters of Charleston Harbor as we take you on a journey of exploration.
From the water you’ll see the famous Fort Sumter where the Civil War started in 1861. Get closer than anyone to the infamous Castle Pickney. You’ll come face to face with the Aircraft Carrier Yorktown like few others ever experience – and float along the famous battery of historic homes. Then circle past the suspension bridge, flirt with the ocean at the mouth of the harbor, and along the way you'll probably see a dolphin or two.
We don't just do walking tours, so if you're looking for things to do in Charleston SC - join Chucktown Tours on this magical look at the history of Charleston South Carolina from the water!
A few things to consider...
Our Harbor Expedition is aboard "The Chucktown", a 22 foot vessel that allows us to get into areas other boats can't. It also limits our expeditions to six guests - so you're not one of hundreds on an old rusty tub.
